SCOTT HEDRICK concentrates his practice in
workers' compensation,
personal injury and
mediation. He is a Board Certified Specialist in Workers Compensation
by the North Carolina State Bar Board of Legal Specialization and a
Certified Mediator. Mr. Hedrick has extensive experience in
mediation, arbitration and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. He is
certified by the NC Dispute Resolution Commission to conduct mediated settlement
conferences in the State courts of North Carolina and in North Carolina
workers' compensation
actions by the North Carolina Industrial Commission.
Mr. Hedrick received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Wofford
College in 1978. He received his Juris Doctor Degree from the
Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University in
1981. Mr. Hedrick is licensed to practice before all state and
federal courts of the State of North Carolina and the United
States Supreme Court. He received his mediation training in Duke
University Private Adjudication Center Superior Court Mediation
Training program 1998 and at the Harvard Law School, Advanced
Negotiation: Program of Instruction for Lawyers in 2008.
He is a member of the New Hanover County Bar Association, the North
Carolina Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Defense Research
Institute and the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys. He is also a
member of the Workers' Compensation Section of the North Carolina Bar
Association.
