DAN MORTON was born in Brevard, North Carolina. He concentrates his practice in general civil, insurance and employment litigation. His practice includes all aspects of insurance coverage disputes, extra-contractual bad faith litigation, property litigation, personal injury, premises liability, products liability, general liability, construction defect litigation, general construction litigation and employment disputes.

Mr. Morton received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the Duke University. He received his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Mr. Morton is licensed to practice before all state and federal courts of the State of North Carolina. He is a member of the New Hanover County Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute and the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys. He is also a member of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy where he has served as an instructor.
